Questions people ask first
Are there any extra charges at pickup?
No. The per-kg rate includes freight, clearance and handling. The only addition is 20% of item value on single items worth $500 / £500 or more.
What is volume weight?
Airlines charge large, light boxes by size. We take length × width × height in cm and divide by 5000. You pay for the higher of that or the actual weight. Tip: ask the store to ship in a padded bag rather than a big box.
When will my parcel arrive?
From the USA we fly twice a month (next cutoff Thu 5 Nov); anything at our US warehouse by the cutoff arrives the same month. From the UK we fly every Thursday and from China every Friday. Parcels at our warehouse by the cutoff go on that flight.
How do I pay?
M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas or bank transfer [CONFIRM: card or cash at the office?]. You pay when your parcel lands.
What can’t I ship?
Power banks, loose batteries, perfume, aerosols and nail polish can’t fly. Weapons, drugs and counterfeit goods can’t ship at all. Check your item.
