Prices and charges
How much does shipping cost?
Air freight is $15/kg from the USA, £10.5/kg from the UK, $13.5/kg from China, $15/kg from South Korea and €13.5/kg from Germany, France and the Netherlands (commercial cargo, minimum 70 kg). Sea cargo from China is $480 per CBM. See all prices.
Are there extra charges at pickup?
No. The per-kg rate includes freight, clearance and handling. Single items worth 500 ($ or £) or more add 20% of their value.
What is volume weight?
Length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000. We charge the higher of volume weight and actual weight, because airlines charge for space.
What is EXW on Korean orders?
Ex-works means the supplier’s price is for goods at their door. Pickup in Korea, export clearance and airport handling are quoted separately before you pay.
Timing
When will my parcel arrive?
USA: twice a month, next cutoff Thu 5 Nov; parcels at our US warehouse by the cutoff arrive the same month. UK: every Thursday (next Thu 5 Nov). China: every Friday (next Fri 30 Oct). Full calendar.
How long does sea freight take?

How long does air freight from China, Korea and Europe take?
China flies every Friday; Korea and Europe are booked per shipment. Transit is [CONFIRM X–Y] days from the origin airport.
Payment and collection
How do I pay?
M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas or bank transfer [CONFIRM: card or cash?]. You pay when your parcel lands in Tanzania.
Where do I collect?
At our office: Tanzanite Park, Victoria, Dar es Salaam, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00.
Do you deliver?

How long can you hold my parcel?

Customs and items
What can’t I ship?
Some items can never ship, and some can go by sea but not by air. Search the prohibited items list.
Do I need to deal with TRA?
No, we clear customs for you. For commercial imports we may ask for your TIN [CONFIRM].
Do medicines and cosmetics need permits?
Medicines and supplements need TMDA approval and are limited to personal quantities. Shop stock of cosmetics may need TMDA registration. [CONFIRM limits]
